Colin Farrell joue Ray Velcoro, un détective compromis dans la loyauté est divisé entre les services de police corrompus et la mafia qui le contrôle.
Vince Vaughn joue Frank Semyon, un criminel qui va peut-être perdre son empire lorsqu’il décide de revenir dans le chemin de la loi et qu’un partenaire se fait tuer.
Rachael McAdams joue Ani Bezzerides, une détective du service de la région de Ventura dont l’éthique est mise à dur épreuve à cause du système qu’elle protège.
Taylor Kitsch joue Paul Woodrugh, un vétéran de la guerre et un officier de patrouille pour les autoroutes de Californie. Un homme qui fuit son passé et un scandale qui n’est jamais arrivé.
L’équipe est divisé concernant True Detective. Une partie a tout simplement adoré la première saison tandis que l’autre n’a même pas réussi à la finir, trop énervé par tout le buzz autour de celle-ci et par son ennui devant. Mais il faut avouer que cette saison 2 a pour l’instant convaincue les deux parties de Cinécomça. Merci la série anthologique qui permet de faire table rase et de reprendre une nouvelle histoire.
Nous sommes ravis de pouvoir retrouver Taylor Kitsch dans une série, mais aussi impatient de découvrir Vince Vaughn dans un registre moins comédie et beaucoup plus dramatique. De plus, avoir Rachael McAdams et Colin Farrell, deux très bons acteurs, ne donne que plus envie.
